2 pcs. eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 cups flour
Directions
Mix all ingredients and leave overnight in the refrigerator (for easier handling).
Roll out dough and cut doughnuts with a cutter.
Place in a very hot oil.
Turn doughnuts as soon as they surface.
With hot oil, the doughnuts need to be watched so they won't burn.
