If you drive by..
In the front of the chapel of Saint Jean-Baptiste (12th century) located in the middle of the fields near the ancient site of Altenweiller, you'll find a 'Calvaire' dating from 1795. The Christ is similar to the one on the crucifix of the chapel of Notre Dame in Dambach-la-Ville. These monuments were made by the same anonymous sculpturer named the "Master of Dambach", who also left in 1819, a similar work of art in Blienschwiller.
